Thousands jam St. Peter's Square for solemn vigil
St. Peter's Square in Vatican City is once again filling up, reports WZZM 13 News.
"Pilgrims, tourists and locals are flocking to the site to pray for Pope John Paul who is near death.
As many as 70 thousand people had filled the square last night but those numbers dwindled early in the morning. Now thousands are once again flocking to the site.
Many are facing the Apostolic Palace where the pope lives. Some are reading Bibles or using cameras or cellular phones to snap pictures of his apartment windows.
