Canal Plus, Nokia, SFR, Tower Cast to trial French mobile TV

The Canal Plus Group, the French entertainment concern, mobile handset manufacturer Nokia, French mobile operator SFR and broadcaster Tower Cast are preparing the launch of a mobile television pilot project using DVB-Handheld technology.

The pilot project, involving some 500 users, is set to launch in the second quarter of the year. [via DMeurope].
