Unhappy adventures end as beach pest loses camera

His expensive mobile phone camera will be forfeited, and the evidence on it - digital images of women sunbathing topless at the beach - will be destroyed, reports The Sydney Morning Herald

"Peter James Mackenzie, 25, apologised yesterday for a "stupid idea" that was all about impressing the blokes at work, and is mortified by the repercussions of his happy snapping at Coogee Beach last month.

Mackenzie, a labourer from Coogee, pleaded guilty to a charge of offensive behaviour in a public place. For the past month he has been on unusual bail conditions: banned from going to any beach from Bondi to Malabar while in possession of any photographic equipment or camera mobile phone.
