With camera phones rapidly getting hold in the handset market, the optical lens specially designed for camera phones is gaining popularity, reports Telecoms Korea.

Currently available are telescopic lens making objects seem larger and nearer, wide-angle lens giving a wider view and multifunctional lens converging macro and wide-angle lenses.

Besides, polarizing filter restricting the direction of light wave and securing clearer pictures and color-changing lens filters are also on the market.
