Nokia's market share improves thanks to camera phones
New data from Gartner shows that Nokia, the world's largest maker of cellphones, had stemmed a decline in its market share, according Forbes.
"The Finnish company achieved a small gain, to 29.7 percent of the global market from 28.9 percent in the first quarter, Gartner said, driven by a "sensational performance" in Latin America and by sales to U.S. and European consumers who replaced older phones with models incorporating color displays and built-in cameras."
