Vipera brings affordable picture messaging to mobile phones
Vipera.com is an independent mobile data network operator, based upon Internet standards and Open Source software, allowing camera enabled mobile phones to transmit picture messages to other phones as well as to any Internet e-mail account, at a fraction of the cost charged by traditional operators for their MMS service.
Endusers equipped with a Java enabled phone or PDA can register for a Vipera account at no fee. This is done via the Vipera portal at http://www.vipera.com, according to a company Press release.
