Crackdown continues - More health club chains banning camera phones

USA Today reports on the wave of health club chains across the country, banning camera phones inside facilities to prevent patrons from being improperly photographed.

Mostly these measures are taken as a precaution, what's interesting in this article are the examples given of actual offenders:

"Since August 2000, 10 cases involving charges against people for improper photography have been turned over to the Travis County district attorney's office for prosecution.

-- One of the men investigated in the Travis County cases was sentenced to 18 months jail time for videotaping his stepdaughter changing clothes.

-- Another man was arrested and charged with improper photography in May after he was accused of taking pictures under a woman's skirt at an H-E-B grocery store.

-- In March, a man was arrested and charged after being accused of taking photos under women's skirts at an Austin intersection".
