Europe's Sales of 3G Phones Pick Up

Sales of third-generation cellphones are finally gaining momentum in Europe, according to new market-research figures, according to the WSJ.

"In April, about 225,000 third-generation, or 3G, cellphones were sold to consumers in Europe, according to GfK, a research firm in Nuremberg, Germany. While that still is only about 2% of the European cellphone market, GfK says unit sales in April were more than double those in March."
