Nokia Flaunts Camera Phones at McDonald's in India
Would you like a family snapshot from a mobile phone to go with that Happy Meal?
That is an offer being made in India, where the world's top mobile phone maker Nokia teamed up with fast-food giant McDonald's Corp on Wednesday to sell the idea of camera phones to hundreds of millions of potential customers, reports Reuters.
"Children and families buying Happy Meals at McDonald's restaurants in New Delhi and northern India during May can get framed pictures of themselves, taken using a handset, together with their food, Nokia said.
I think that's a really clever marketing campaign and a good way to initiate families to cameraphones.
