Military looks at the bigger picture: No photo phones in classified areas
To the left, a Japanese visitor takes a picture of the USS Kitty Hawk with a digital camera in his cellphone last year during Yokosuka Naval Base's friendship day.
As the phone become more popular, they are posing greater privacy and security problems, reports the
Stars and Stripes.
"The National Security Agency, responsible for collecting signal intelligence around the world, issued an advisory warning that camera phones might be used for espionage, according to a Jan. 23 Air Force news release". cf related article U.S. Air Force bans camera phones in restricted areas.
