Businesses Advised To Regulate Camera Phone Use

TechWeb reports on research firm Metagroup's advice to businesses is to adopt policies regulating use of the gadgets in the workplace, as that the growing popularity of cameraphones and their ability to send pictures over the Internet pose a liability and security threat.

"Insensitive use of camera phones by employees can cost businesses money, because such cases can lead to lawsuits against employers, as well as individuals".

Metagroup analyst Jack Gold believe most employees are honest and that clearly defined policies will prevent most problems from occurring.
