Sprint and Sanyo Introduce First Video Phone to Include Press-to-Talk Service
Mobilemag reports that Sprint and Sanyo have announced the PCS Vision Video Phone VM450 by Sanyo, the first camera and 15-second video phone in the U.S. with a Sprint's walkie-talkie service: PCS Ready Link.
Users can instantly share both video clips and photos with family and friends or share them online using Sprint Picture Mail.
Interesting, this article refers to a press-to-call service. Remember, Nextel sued Verizon Wireless for trademark infringement following the launch of their push-to-talk service rivalling that of Nextel. I guess they are being careful.
