Cardedeu's Photo-Phone Whistleblower
From Steve Outing on E-Media Tidbits. "In the Catalan village of Cardedeu, just north of Barcelona, Albert Cuesta has become the "unofficial local whistleblower." This is a great example of "citizen journalism" enabled by networked digital photography (that is, photo phones). Cuesta maintains a moblog called A Cardedeu no anem bé, where he posts photos and brief comments "about things I don't like in the street of the village where I live. ...
What a brilliant use of this new technology. Networked digital photography is arming the new wave of citizen journalists".
