Nokia Developing Independent TV Technology
Nokia is developing a handset that will offer TV companies a chance to bypass telecoms operators and broadcast programmes straight to mobile phones...can we hear hallelujah?!
According to Mobile Commerce World, the technology, called DVB-H, will enalble phones to have a built-in TV antennae, and hence will be able to receive programming direct from the broadcaster.
The question will be whether the telecoms operator will be the service provider or if it will be the TV broadcaster...
