Politician jumps on camphone privacy issue bandwagon

This story is all over the news and since it's hardly newsworthy, as so much as been written about banning picture phones in locker rooms before, this looks more like a politician campaigning on a trendy issue. I'll give him credit though for being the first politician to campaign on banning picture phones from public restrooms.

"Councilman David Bentkowski of the suburb of Seven Hills wants to ban cellphones with built-in digital cameras from the city's public bathrooms.

Bentkowski -- who is running for mayor -- says that as society becomes more high-tech, privacy has become more of a major issue.

He says someone could pretend they were talking on the phone, but actually be taking a lewd photo". WRIC News
