Sports highlights sent to cell phones

Ahmet Ekin, a sports fan and a native of Turkey is one of two UR researchers who have developed a patent pending technology, called Automatic Sports Video Analyzer (ASVA) software, which will be able to whittle down a recorded sporting event to it's highlights (a 45 minute event down to 5 minutes), so that these clips can be sent to cell phones or personal digital assistants, reports the Democrat and Chronicle.
