Face recognition technology for camera phones

A recognizition system called GeneLock-Light, developed by Japanese software company Earth Beat, will enable camera phones users to login with a picture instead of a password. New users snap their picture with their camera phone which will then be stored within the camera and matched up to the person turning on the phone, allowing access. According to an article in French technology magazine 01net.
