Photograph your Edinburgh Festival!

The Edinburgh Festival is a generic term used to describe the veritable cultural explosion which occurs in August each year. Since the late 1940s Edinburgh has become a hotspot for artistic talent beginning with the International Festival and the Fringe (for full program click here ).

This year, the festival is offering picture phone users the opportunity to participate in a competitition, "Photograph your festival" to win a Nokia 7250i and a weekend at the Carlton Hotel. Visitors are invited to send in their pictures taken with camera phone, of anything related to the Festivals.

To the best of my knowledge, this is the first cultural event to organize a photoblog competition.
