Cody Wilson of Defense Distributed launches Defcad, a hosting site for gun-component designs

Following MakerBot’s decision to remove from Thingiverse, all gun related blueprints, controversial Cody Wilson of Defense Distributed — a collaborative project to create freely available plans for 3D printable guns — launched Defcad, a site dedicated to hosting the ousted gun-component designs.
In his own words:
This site is a makeshift response to Makerbot Industries' decision to censor files uploaded in good faith at Thingiverse, specifically firearms-related files. We are hosting as many of the pulled files as we can find.
